Anacortes, WA

On Friday, Boyfriend and I drove up from Portland, Oregon, to Anacortes, Washington. Due to traffic, we got there a little late to visit the shops but did go on a lovely walk to a park I saw on a map, Cap Sante, and did a little hiking. We saw a mama deer and her baby in the wooded area, on our hike to the rocky top of the peninsula. In the morning we hit the quaint little tourist strip, and then drove to another larger park, to kill a little time, before we picked up a friend coming in from BC on the ferry, and headed to Seattle. Seattle was fine but we couldn't afford to do the things we really wanted, so we just walked around Pike Place market and the Seattle Center a bit. Bought a starfish pendant from Tisbury Art Glass at the market. Now we're home, and I'm nursing a bit of a sunburn, but I'll survive.
