Oh, How I love Project Wonderful
For those of you who don't know, Project Wonderful is a very useful advertising program for people like online crafters, comic artists, and bloggers. You bid against other people to advertise on peoples blogs and websites and can also offer ad spaces for sale, starting any price you want (see mine -- those three boxes to your right?). See Projectwonderful.com for more info.
Here are some 7 day stats to hopefully show you why I like PW so much.
I had $5.73 to spend.
I ran 5 advertising campaigns with ads pointing to my Etsy shop, dot com, and my Dawanda shop. They range from .01 to .05 cents high bids. Mostly I'm bidding on spots on comic and fashion sites, not many etsy shop blogs.
Results over 7 days:
69,168 page views
366 unique clicks
total cost: $5.73
Comfirmed sales: 1, for $150 (I admit to being very slack about asking my etsy customers where they came from though - this was trackable through my dot-com store)
When I up my budget, I get amazing clicks. I just deposited $30 and started just one new campaign, bidding on any and every ad space that is 1 penny or less (sometimes sites start with free spots). I will let you know in one week how it went :)

Now I'm very interested in Project Wonderful....I think I might look into that. :)
I opened an account a while ago, but never did anything with it. Maybe I should get to it?...
It's awesome, isn't it? I'm going to return the favor. ;-)

Hi Nicole,
It's nice to see you back on your blog. Thank you for the super info on advertising - it is in my future.
Glad to hear about your stats in Project Wonderful. I have been using it and I do see some increase in my traffic though not as spectacular as yours. As long as it works for you, I'm happy. Have a great week ahead!
Thanks for the information! Not too many people like to share this kind of information so you should be applauded. Keep blogging.
Thanks for writing about Project Wonderful. It definitely sounds promising!
