These gorgeous dangle earrings feature Swarovski bicones and dagger-shaped headpins. I made these with care, only to notice that one of the black beads has a little chip at the bottom! Know what that means? Free Giveaway time!

I have before me 30 little pieces of paper with names on them, for all of the entrants to my Free Earrings Giveaway! To enter the contest I asked everyone to tell me their favorite item from my shop. It was a great learning experience for me, thank you! The most voted-for item was the Beautiful Blue Drop Necklace. In second were the Milky White Briolette Earrings, and in third was my Freeform Silver Squares Ring. So I will definitely be doing some more bezel-set pendants in the future, and listing more wire-wrapped briolettes as soon as the sun comes out here in Portland!
And now to the fun part! The lucky two winners of FREE EARRINGS are....

More new photos! I hated the original photos of these two pairs of earrings, but its been rainy and gloomy for so long here in Portland I had to take photos without sunlight. Here you see the outcome of the "gloom photos", enhanced as much as possible to bring them from the darkness:
(These are available at SoloArtworks.etsy.com.)
I am learning slowly how to take better photos! Basically I took a horrible crappy neon pink photo yesterday of what was supposed to be lovely copper earrings.
And then as SOON as the light was right today I raced to redo it before another cloud rolled in, and got this MUCH improved shot!
Why couldn't I get this right the first time, lol.
These and some new tiny brass Lucky Stars earrings are for sale in my Etsy Shop :)
Halloween Earrings! Orange Mother of Pearl briolettes wire-wrapped with oxidized sterling silver. Want them?? Win them!!
I'm giving these away to one lucky blog-reading winner. Just visit my Etsy Shop and pick your favourite item, and post a comment here about it! I would love to know why you liked it so much! I will put all names in a hat and draw one to win these cute little earrings! They should get there just in time for Halloween :)
(Please include your etsy username or e-mail so I can contact you if you win!)

So yesterday I asked Boyfriend what I should make, and he said Gold hoop earrings. So I bent some wire, and it turned funny, but ended up making ~perfect~ hoops in a diamond profile! I wish I could replicate this, lol. But here they are, in solid 14K Gold :)
I think I spent a total of at lease 7 days finishing and refinishing these earrings before I got the results I wanted! But, I'm glad to say I didn't settle -- The patina ended up looking perfect at the end of my trials (and tribulations)!!
Handsawn from copper sheet, and soldered to sterling silver earposts.
The forming tools are so much fun! Here are two more pairs of my new earrings, for sale in my etsy shop!
So you know how I said I've been playing with new stuff? Here is one of the first results! Gorgeous little brass buds for your ears. They turned out *perfect* and I'm so happy!
